In the previous chapter, Kate and Murphy went to Trapmaker’s warehouse. What they didn’t know was that he was waiting for them. They fell for his trap, but then managed to get out pretty easily. The Trapmaker plans to blow up the entire police station. Can Kate rescue her friends before that happens?
Adventure Escape Mysteries – Trapmaker 2 Chapter 8
1- You’re outside the police station. Penny and Keiko are still inside so you have to help them survive. Start by grabbing the extension cord and the van’s key. Next, use that key to open up the van.
After the van is opened, grab the boombox and tap on the containers. You’ll find a phone charger and another extension cord. Take them.
2- Use the extension cords to provide electricity for the radar.
3- Now, tap on the radar and you’ll see a puzzle. You have to highlight all the buildings by pressing the buttons 4 and 5.
This is the correct order: 5 – 4 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 4.
After that, you’ll get a battering ram. Use the battering ram on the building’s wall to destroy it.
4- Pick up the defibrillator and plug in the treadmill. Open up the first locker and get the hair dryer inside. Similarly, open the second one to get a magnet.
Furthermore, use the magnet to get the key under the grate and then use that key to open the last locker. Get the fan. And lastly, tap on the power box.
5- The power box is, of course, another puzzle. Each color has a value which you need to calculate. By dragging two resistors to the center you can see the sum value of all of their colors. Start this off by putting red and blue because their resistor doesn’t have other colors. Their sum is 18. If you try red with another resistor and then replace red with blue, you’ll see that the difference is 6, and blue is a bigger number. Three blues are 6 bigger than three reds. That means, blue is 4 (12/3) and red is 2 (6/3). You can calculate the remaining colors easily but the solution is below for any case:
6- Plug everything into the socket. Tap on the boombox and iterate through every song. Sum up all the minutes and seconds of every song and you’ll get 14:48.
7- Next, tap on the third locker and insert 1448.
Grab the electric razor you just found and plug it also into the socket. The power box will break down and the door will finally open.
8- The bomb is inside the desk, but it’s locked. Grab the box cutter and then open up the red chest. There are a hammer, a screwdriver and a voltage meter inside. Take them but leave the voltage meter as it doesn’t have any battery!
Furthermore, open the closet and take that box out. Use the box cutter to open it up. Voila! Compressed air! Use the compressed air on the lock and the hammer to break it.
9- Can you see the security cameras? There are two. Use the hammer to break them and grab the wires that just showed up.
Next, use the screwdriver on that metallic thing. You’ll get a battery for the voltage meter. Super nice! Now you can put the batteries in the voltage meter and start using it.
10- Tap on the bomb. Attach the voltage meter to it and the timer will stop. There is a final puzzle to solve.
Not much you can do at this point. Kate’s friends fainted and the Trapmaker succeeded this time. This may be a temporary win for him but the battle is not over.
