DERE EVIL .EXE is a retro platform game developed by Darius Immanuel D. Guerrero. The game brings unique puzzles and obstacles in the format of a catchy retro 16-bit pixel platformer. After installing the game, you will find your player in the futuristic 2D game filled with platforms, diamonds, and enemies that you must avoid. You begin as the hero named Knightly, who jumps, runs, and manipulates environments in order to survive the journey through the stunning pixel art world.
The game is played using 3 large on-screen buttons that you use to move Left and Right and Jump. The game resembles much to the classic Super Mario. The levels seem to be inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit arcade classics of the 80s and 90s. You scroll through the levels with surreal structures and dangerous creatures known as corruptions. They take the form of their creator’s greatest fears. Their creepy creator, hides in plain sight as she watches her prey fall deeper into her traps. The game features also a catchy soundtrack as it plays either retro music or threatening PSX era orchestral music, depending on the situation.
