Geometry Dash is a music-themed action platform game developed by RobTop Games AB. In Geometry Dash the player has to navigate a square through the stages filled with subversive objects. The game becomes very frustrating, as one small mistake gets you back at the very beginning. You must continuously jump and fly over the many dangers in a rhythm-based exciting platform game. In the world of Geometry Dash you have to be prepared for an almost impossible challenge. As you jump, push your skills to the limit while maintaining to fly and flip your way through the dangerous passages and spiky obstacles.
Geometry Dash uses simple tap controls from which different vehicles react whenever the player presses the touchscreen. Players can’t control the speed which the icon is moving, and the only way to change the speed is by touching a speed changing arrow set. The timing and rhythm of the in-game music are key parts of the game, related to each other. The objective of the game is to complete every level by seizing its end. In case the player crashes into an obstacle, they will have to start over from the very beginning. All levels (with the exception of the three “demon” rated levels in the full version; $1.99) are unlocked from the start, so they can be played even out of order. Along the way, the player can collect up to three secret coins in each official level, which are scattered in either hidden or challenging areas. As sioon as the the player completes a level, he/she will be rewarded with icons or colors on main levels, and mana orbs, which can be used to purchase icons, death effects, or trails.
Geometry Dash features 21 levels, 18 of which are available from the start. Some can be beaten by anyone, while some other will require thousands of attempts to master and complete. Levels are classified by difficulty, from Easy to Demon. The game is absolutely amazing. Not only provides the perfect challenge for any gamer, but it also brings the creative part with the level editor feature. There are online levels that range from, easy enough for anyone, to being so extreme they are not humanly possible. The game throws a challenge for everyone, and besides that, it has an incredible music soundtrack.
