Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – Part 5: Gyoubu Oniwa
The very first thing you’re going to do is jump to the roof and then take the stairs on the right.
Walk, kill and rope until you go to the roof shown below. There’s where the boss battle will occur. But don’t go there just yet.
Instead, take the path behind your back.
The first enemy you’re going to see is a big guy walking around. Let him get closer so you can aerial deathblow him. Kill everyone in that area.
You’ll go to the boss next, but just before that head back to acquire skills just to make sure that you are at full health and get some firecrackers.
Now, go again at the roof shown in the picture above. It’s time to face the boss.
A combination of Grappling Hook Attack and Firecrackers is what you really need to beat him.
At the point where the boss has dropped, walk around and you will find a merchant and subsequently a powerful guy inside a building. He will ask you to kill some rats with him. Tell him “yes”. It is very important to do this. If you don’t do it, you’re going to have a really bad time later.
Head on upstairs. Pick some items around, go back downstairs and then out. Take a rest at the idol and don’t forget to use the memory to enhance your attacking power.
Open up the giant door next to the idol and start killing some rats. Once you’re done with them come back to rest and return to the quest guy. He’ll give you a reward.
Once again, repeat what you did. Go and kill everyone and at the point where you don’t see enemies anymore, pick up some items and go back to the idol. There is one more boss in this episode that might be a little bit harder than Gyoubu.
Find your way out to Ashina Castle. There’s the boss I’m talking about. It is actually a very aggressive bull, so you’ll need firecrackers to interrupt him, even though the effect won’t last for long.
Try to pull the bull over into the little corner shown below and fight him from behind using firecrackers. Anytime it rampages around just get out of the way.
After he’s finished, the guards will open the gate thinking that you’re dead. Enter inside and kill them. Then, rest at the idol. You’ve successfully made your way to Ashina Castle.
Reminder: Don’t forget to do some farming from time to time.
