If Simulacra is about finding a lost phone game that turns into a horror experience, in Simulacra: Pipe Dreams the lost phone game is replaced with a game-within-a-game kind of narrative storyline. As soon as the game starts the game plot reveals: “Your best friend tells you about a new game he’s really into. He introduces it to you and while it seems harmless at first, something’s not quite right. While the game offers temporary relief of life’s problems it also takes something away…”. Your aim will be to guide Teddy as he tries to break free from the hold of the seemingly cursed video game. Teddy’s life will further fall apart as he starts to forget really important things. He starts finding messages with no recollection of sending, and often finds himself blacking out with huge gaps of time missing. And oddly it all started after he downloaded this mysterious free game called “FlappeBird”. It will be up to you to help Teddy break free and solve this intriguing mystery. The story will be affected by the decisions you make in the game while what you say to Teddy will affect what actions he’ll be taking.
