SNIKS is one of the hottest puzzle games by Shelly Alon you can easily play with just one hand. It’s relaxing, challenging enough and the interface is just great. Sniks are actually happy little worms who come in different colors. They move around a grid in order to eat fruits. And that pretty much makes the goal of the game; the Sniks should eat the fruits. If you have ever played Snakebeard and liked it, we guarantee that you’ll like this game also.
How to play?
All you have to do is to slide the worms and make them eat the fruits. A fruit should be eaten by a worm that has the same color as it. For example, a banana should be only eaten by a yellow worm. Until now it sounds easy but it gets a little more complicated than that. Sometimes fruits with unique colors show up, such as purple. Let’s say there are no purple worms in the game. How do you solve the situation? In this case, you need to join two worms and make them eat the same fruit. For a purple fruit, you would need to join a red worm and a blue worm. This works because sniks are transparent and they colors will change every time they overlap each other. The game gets especially challenging where there is very little space and it’s difficult to arrange the sniks as it should. A simple way to handle these kinds of situations is to bend a snik and put the head of the other one into the created angle.
Levels are separated into areas. The following area unlocks once you solve a certain number of levels in an area. Which means you don’t need to solve every level of an area to reach the next area. Most games do not allow this, causing many players to stuck at a certain level and leave the game. This doesn’t happen in SNIKS. The game doesn’t get boring just because of this feature. If you ever feel stuck on one level, just jump to another one and go back to that level whenever you feel more confident.
SNIKS is available for both IOS and Android platforms and it costs just 2.99$.
