Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – Part 14: Bodhisattva Valley
Head on over to the Sculptor and do some upgrading. We recommend you upgrade Sabimaru because you’ll be fighting the snake again. After that, run to the Shinobi door because it’s time to give Emma the seed.
Now travel to the Sunken Valley – Bodhisattva Valley.
Drop down, fight the monkey and grab some items. Then talk to the merchant and do some purchases.
Don’t go to the snake’s cave for now. Instead, go up to the giant statues and grab some Spirit Emblems. You’re close to a monkey fight. A good approach is getting off your shurikens to kill the regular monkeys. With them dead, you can have a fair one on one fight with the master monkey whose death will award you with a Yellow Gunpowder.
Next, make your way back over to the merchant and go right into the snake’s cave. At the point where you see the snake, try to find a monkey and turn him into a puppet. The monkey will start dancing and make himself noticeable to the snake’s eyes, therefore the snake will attack him and you can finally jump across the snake to reach the other side.
Grab the Dried Serpent Viscera. This is one of the two parts that you need to get the hidden ending of the game. Ashina Depths is very near. Make sure you go there and hit the idol.
You’ll come back to Ashina Depths but first travel to Ashina Reservoir. Take the left path as you’ve done before. Ignore the enemies but grab the items. Make your way up to the Abandoned Dungeon and hit the idol.
You’re about to get involved in a boss fight. A good strategy for this guy is using confetti, but if you don’t have confetti you can also use the Anti Air Deathblow as a backup plan. He will do a lot of Terror based damage so having a pacifying agent is going to be helpful to reduce the terror. Another main thing you need is Divine confetti. Two of those will probably be enough. Whenever you need a break during the fight you can hide behind the pillar.
Next, go to the idol and Travel to Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo – Bell Demon’s Temple. You’re about to fight Headless. Headless is harder than the previous guy but still not impossible. He will vanish and reappear behind you and attempt to do a grab attack so watch out for that.
Ako’s Spiritfall enters in your pocket. Back to the Last Communed Idol.
Talk to the old lady and she will point out the way to go to Ashina Depths. Jump down but be ready to grapple. Fight the zombie and try to find the first proper idol of Ashina Depths. You’ve been before in this area. Get out of that cave and you can finally see Ashina Depths.
What we suggest at this point is that you should use puppeteer in order to make one of those guys take care of the others while you fight the Snake Eyes Shirahagi. Use the nearby idol to rest if it’s not going good.
