Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – Part 15: Ashina Depths
With the boss and enemies dispatched, head down into the tunnel but before going in there get the Monkey Booze protected by a monkey.
Make your way up to the head of the statue to get a Prayer Bead.
Continue back through and reach a wide area which is actually a boss zone. After you dispatch the snake and kill the guardian ape, you can come back here to fight two apes and after that, another warrior. This will be for later.
For now, rope on up and go outside in order to find an idol and travel back to the Underground Waterway. Destroy the zombies and talk to the Master Dousaku. Then, go back to the idol and travel to Ashina Depths – Hidden Forest.
You have to remove the fog in this area. The fog is filled with ghost enemies that will attack you. First, talk to the monk. Then, hug the wall shown in the picture below. There’s a boss on the left. The fog doesn’t impact this fight so you’re okay to go.
First, throw shurikens at the monkeys and then take care of the boss. Maybe throw some fire at him?
After that, reach the other side of the area through the hill and rope up to the roof.
Go inside the building and fight the Mist Noble. It’s not a hard one but if you get in trouble just use Sabimaru to kill him.
After he’s dead the fog will disperse. Go back to the Last Communed Idol. Now that the fog has been removed things will be significantly easier.
Before fighting another Headless, make sure you kill all the roosters and grab all the items around because there are quite a few.
It’s an optional boss and you don’t have to go through this if you don’t want to but the item he drops is a good one. Anyway if you’re pretty sure that you can’t beat him, just skip it. Also, Divine Confettis are pretty hard to farm later in the game so…
Travel to the Last Communed Idol. There are a lot of items to grab so make sure you take everything and find another idol.
From the idol go to the merchant and purchase any item you desire or find reasonable at this point of the game. What’s really interesting is that very near to the farmer you can find an enemy whose death will give you 800 XP at once. This kind of enemy is probably the best to farm.
Next, move to the Mibu Village area. What you need to do is go to the village and grab as many items as you can whether they’re outside or inside the houses. The enemies are afraid of fire. Keep that in mind!
Finally, find the idol of this area.
