Two of the most famous and trending games in the history of mobile gaming, the iconic “Snake” and “Angry Birds” has been merged into the addictive puzzle game called “Snakebird”. Snakebird is a very simple yet challenging puzzle game about assuming the right shapes for the given task, by pushing, lifting, teleporting or even defying the laws of physics. The goal of each level is to guide the birds to the fruit that will extend the snakebird’s length. Once the fruit has been eaten then a portal opens to the next level.
The simple swipes will send your snake slithering in that direction. After certain levels an “undo” button that rewinds a move will appear as well as a restart button that instantly restarts the level. Your goal remains to collect each piece of fruit in a level, while not being timed or scored, then make your way unharmed to the portal. It only sounds easy because it’s really not.
The key to every great puzzle game is to take a very simple concept and give it the depth of increasing complexity to evoke a lengthy gameplay. And Snakebird does exactly that. In this game the player must think outside of the box. Make sure to think of everything on-screen as it may be a tool that can aid you to getting to that portal.
